This Earth Month, we’re cooking up low-waste recipes so we can use more groceries in our meal plans and send less food to the landfill! First up is a brilliant way to give your leftover Easter ham a second life: easy, crowd pleasing sliders.

Got extra ham on your hands after Easter feasting? Waste not, want not! Give it a second life with these easy, delicious sliders.

Full recipe below…

You’ll need:
Ham (thinly sliced)
Slider buns
Mustard
Swiss cheese
Pickles

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°.
Thinly slice your ham if it isn’t already sliced.
Slice slider buns in half, keeping tops and bottoms connected. Layer ham on the bottom buns with mustard, Swiss cheese, and pickles. Replace tops, wrap in foil, and bake until cheese is slightly melted and tops are golden brown, 12-15 minutes.
