Hello everyone. It was quite the afternoon. We have been watching the storms today that actually looked like it was going to split on both sides of us but it turned around and built on top of us with several rotations.
Not only am i a storm Chaser in Colorado (Chaser E656) I was also trained in Nebraska Storm Chasing class led by one of the best Reed Timmer Extreme Meteorologist .

I was able to obtain some amazing photos and videos today. Photos are in this post with video following in the next. I hope everyone is safe!

Good morning. We hope you had a safe and happy Memorial day.
We have a lot going on here at the farm. I am doing a massive clean up in the greenhouse ( we won't discuss that but I am very upset).
I ordered some new shoes last night ($90.00) which to me is unheard of, but I am praying they help my plantar fasciitis. That along with my graves disease is making it hard to even stand on my feet not alone walk.
We will be closing at 130 today and will remain closed until Saturday. We have a vet appointment today to help our beloved cat Houdini gain his wings. He is 22.
We are also going to make changes to the bakery and do mostly online orders.
So please be patient this week as we grieve Houdini as he goes to meet grandpa and sit on his lap in heaven and goes to be reunited with Buddy, Tigger, Vessie and Percey

Hello everyone. It has been quite the day, to say the least.
It started out as a normal day, but boy did that change quickly. We went to The Green Plate for breakfast. That was our first time and we were very happy with it. The food was great and amazing service! Then we had a couple errands to run picking up lick tubs for the cows and some shopping for the bakery, then off to home to start baking for our memorial day sale.

Then...the storm! Rain Then hail, then more rain and more hail..all the while I was still trying to bake. We ended up with 2 1/4 inches of rain and 8 inches of hail..and no im NOT joking.
So here I am at almost 11 pm trying to finish some things up so I can get up at 6 and start baking again.

If you are needing baked goods for Memorial Day weekend, now is the time to get yout orders in for breads, rolls, cinnamon rolls, cheesecakes and other items. We are baking Thursday
