Sandwiched between gated communities in the middle of Scottsdale suburbia a small goat dairy farm exists known as The Simple Farm. Every Thursday the SIMPLE FARMERS, Lylah & Michael Ledner, open the farm to the public from 8:30 until noon for their French cafe breakfast breads and fifty cent coffee is served. Twice a day Michael and Lylah hand-milk their little herd of purebred Nubian goats and several days a week they are busy making their famous salted goat milk caramels which are sold at different markets and venues across the Phoenix Valley as well as through their online store at www.simplycarmel.com
