We are just a mere 16 days away from the opening of the Wallingford Farmers Market on Wednesday, May 25th from 3PM - 7PM! To say we are excited about our vender lineup would be a vast understatement! There will be plenty of veggies, berries, meats, treats, and bread for all! Each week as we approach opening day we will highlight a few of the many vendors we are bringing you this year!
Lets start with Seattle Pops Summer is almost here and nothing beats the heat like a tasty popsicle from Seattle Pops. Sporting creative flavors such as Zesty Lime, Banana Mango, Cherry Limeade, and Vanilla Brownie, Seattle Pops is bound to have a flavor that can help cool you down as the temperature goes!
Visiting the Olsen Farms booth at the Market can make you feel like you just earned a degree in potato’s, after all, they sport 16 different varieties, ranging from Viking Purple to Crimson King. But spuds aren’t their only game, they also bring a wide range of naturally and sustainably raised beef, pork and lamb that would taste delicious next to that potato certificate you earned!
New to the Wallingford Farmers Market, lets give a warm welcome to Dear Table Farm Founded by Grace and Griffin, two newly seasoned farmers who’s goal is challenge today’s food industry by asking the question “where does this food come from” with the hope that one day there will always be an answer. Make sure you check out all their delicious veggies this year at the Market!
