Next on rotation for the Morning Pour Club– 🇵🇭☕️

Teofilo Coffee Company is a Filipino coffee company dedicated to bringing greater visibility to the Philippines as a global coffee origin. Their work centers on celebrating the diversity of Philippines coffee, honoring its centuries-long history, and recognizing the farmers and communities keeping its coffee culture alive! They work directly with smallholder farmers, supporting long-term trade and helping build a stronger Filipino coffee ecosystem from seed to cup.

For this rotation, we're featuring Salamat (meaning "thank you"), a blend that represents all four commercially recognized Philippine coffee species: 70% Arabica, 20% Robusta, 5% Excelsa, and 5% Liberica (Barako). Each species brings something different to the cup, making it a special way to experience the incredible diversity of coffee grown throughout the Philippines!

I'm especially excited to highlight Teofilo as we head into Filipino American History Month in October. Philippine coffee has such a rich history and sooo much more to offer, and I'm excited for more people to have the opportunity to taste and learn about it through this blend! -Diane

September Belltown Art Walk at Mixed Pantry 🤩🤩🤩

studio – Amanda is an Asian-American ceramicist and designer based in Seattle. Originally from Boston, she found her way to the PNW to work on climate change solutions and fell deeply in love with the surrounding area. Immersing herself in nature and working with clay has become a grounding and healing balm for life's curveballs, inspiring functional ceramics with organic, carved details that highlight movement and texture.

– is a Taiwanese-American-owned small business creating enamel pins, charms, and stickers that bring joy to your life. From a bird in boots to a bunny sipping on matcha, there's sure to be something that makes you smile!

– is a mahjong club that centers the experience of QTBIPOC in an effort to co-create community and solidarity. They'll be hosting a few beginner-friendly tables as a preview of their upcoming Fall event series with us here at the shop: Seasoned Greetings!! Come grab a seat at the table and play a round! 🀄️🙂‍↕️

– is bringing fresh, chilled sips of R's KOSO, a traditional Japanese fermented enzyme drink made from vegetables, fruits, and plants. Their holistic nutritionist, Eriko, will be hanging out at the shop all evening to share warm chats about this dirnk and Japanese gut-health rituals. Stop by their table to learn more and try a sip!

Mixed Pantry is hiring one part-time, long-term Culinary Retail Associate. If you love talking about food, helping people figure out what to cook, and introducing customers to products and brands they might not find elsewhere, this could be a great fit :)

The role starts in mid-October at 10-15 hours per week during the first four weeks of training, increasing to 20–25 hours per week once fully trained. Weekends are required, and availability for an additional weekday is preferred.

• $23–$26/hour DOE
• Belltown, Seattle
• Ongoing, part-time position
• Retail, service, or customer-facing experience required

Five Japanese-owned businesses are coming together at 1st & Bell to share their take on Japanese-inspired food and flavors in Seattle. , , .us, and our shop are all coming together for one Saturday at 1st and Bell. If you haven't tried chili crisp on soft serve yet, this is your chance 👀 Taste something new, find your next favorite, and come hungry (with a friend, of course), all in one neighborhood!!!

Hong Kong Style Mahjong Class with Sideseries – (Sunday) 9/27, 4 - 6 PM
Looking to learn a new skill and meet new people? Sideseries will be hosting a small beginner Hong Kong-style mahjong class in the space after the shop closes! Their community-centered events are all about intentional pursuits and offline connection, and this is the perfect chance to learn something new. Belltown's annual neighborhood celebration is back!!! Come out for some live music and good food, support local businesses, and explore the spread of activities for the day! Our doors will be open regular hours, so feel free to stop in, grab a snack or cold drink from our nice new fridge, and cool down a bit (the AC's great in here 🙂‍↕️)!
