Our story: During the day, you can find me teaching HS English full time and chasing my two small children around. In my spare time, I am baking with organic ingredients from scratch with my mom. Even though teaching is rewarding, I wanted to create something with my hands that I am passionate about. Since my mom taught me all there is to know about cooking and baking from scratch, naturally, I we

My mom was eager to share her baking secrets with the world, so we started Ballard Extracts β a local company in Seattle, WA to share our family baking extract recipe with others. We make small batches of baking extracts by hand aged over time. Our extracts can be used to add flavor to baked goods and cocktails:
