Making up the last bit of dandelion lotion from last years “crop”. Apparently we like this stuff cuz I'm making up 3/4 of a GALLON today. It is the VERY best lotion I've ever used in my entire life. Bring on the dandelions this year!

A friend of mine has been doing a video series on simplifying your school day without sacrificing. It got me thinking how often we simplify things as well and wanted to share.

Today we were struggling with some double digit addition problems on paper. So, momma whipped out our favorite card game and the frowns turned to smiles in no time when they realized how fun and simple adding double digits could be.

A lot of people tell me “I could never homeschool”. I agree. On my own power I couldn’t either. Thankful today for the privilege I have to guide my children to have a love for learning. Our school days sure look untraditional and I’m totally fine with that.

Lincoln was on a mission this week to buy a bread maker to replace our worn out one. He scored one for $5 at the thrift store and whipped up this last night for our breakfast. 😋 🍞 🥖 🥯
Homemade strawberry rhubarb jelly to top it off.
