📸 HELP US RELIVE OPENING NIGHT! 📸

Well… here’s a little confession from your Market Director. 😅

The Speed Park Artisan & Farmers Market was such a HUGE success on Saturday night that our team barely had time to stop and take pictures!

Between checking in vendors, answering questions, directing traffic, helping guests, solving last-minute surprises, and making sure everything ran smoothly, we were constantly on the move. We even roped a few family members into helping behind the scenes! 🤣

When I got home and looked through my phone, I realized I only took FOUR photos the entire night. FOUR!! 🤦‍♀️

So now we need YOUR help!

Maybe I should have written this earlier, but honestly… by the time I got home from Opening Night of the Speed Park Artisan & Farmers Market, I was completely overwhelmed—in the very best way possible. ❤️

Can we just take a moment and talk about how AMAZING that was?!?!

Sure, we hit a few bumps along the way…
👉 We had a few vendors who couldn’t make it.
👉 We had a few vendors show up that we didn’t even know were coming!
👉 We had a last-minute cancellation from our only food truck and for a brief moment we thought we might be without food.

But you know what happened?

Our incredible team jumped into action, started making phone calls, and somehow pulled it all together. Huge thanks to Mama B’s, Dippin’ Dots, and Pups N Cups for stepping up and helping save the day! ❤️

But the biggest THANK YOU goes to YOU, SELLERSBURG!

I asked you all to come out and support this market… and WOW, did you ever show up! The Market Team was absolutely amazed by the turnout. Seeing families walking through the park, neighbors visiting with one another, kids playing, shoppers supporting small businesses, and hearing the sounds of live music fill the air was everything we hoped this market could become.

The weather was beautiful.
The vendors were fantastic.
The crowd was incredible.
And the music was absolutely hitting! 🎶 Thank you, Drew Crawley, for helping make the evening so special.

The night wasn’t perfect—but it was real, it was community, and it was exactly why we worked so hard to bring this LIFE back to Speed Park.

And the best part?

We’re just getting started.

Next month we’ll be welcoming several new vendors, along with many of your favorites from Opening Night. We’re working on bringing in even more food options (with hopefully a little less excitement behind the scenes 😉), more shopping, more entertainment, and more reasons to spend your Saturday evening with us.

Let’s keep this momentum rolling and continue building something special together.

🚨 SELLERSBURG… WE ARE JUST 2 DAYS AWAY!!! 🚨

And let me tell you something…

IS.
HAPPENING. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Yes… it’s been wetter than a fish in a rain barrel this week 🌧️😂 BUT… Thursday & Friday are SUNSHINE ☀️ and HEAT 🔥 and Saturday’s rain chances are looking slim!

I’ve personally been out walking the market grounds every single day checking conditions and so far the area is NOT holding water. At this point we are FULL STEAM AHEAD, BABY!! 🚂💨

Last weekend I popped over to the New Albany Farmers Market to introduce myself and meet some of the vendors coming to Speed Park this Saturday…

And WOW. 🤯

Sellersburg… y’all are in for a TREAT. We are bringing some INCREDIBLE vendors, amazing food, handmade goods, sweet treats, local makers, and just genuinely wonderful people into our community. 💛

🎶 I also spoke with Drew Crawley and he is READY to bring the vibes Saturday night!! Good music ✔️ Good people ✔️ Beautiful park ✔️ Local shopping ✔️

Honestly… I’m so excited I’m about to pop. 😂

Rain clouds? Never heard of ‘em. ☁️➡️☀️

This morning this gal braved the Ohio Valley gloom & doom weather and headed over to the New Albany Farmers Market to show some love to a few of the AMAZING vendors who will also be joining us soon at the Speed Park Artisan & Farmers Market… and let me tell y’all… they DID 👏 NOT 👏 DISAPPOINT 👏

🛍️ Snagged the CUTEST earrings from Crafty K Designs
🍗 Devoured a Pulled Chicken Sandwich from Bearded Bar B Que and BABYYYYY… chef’s kiss 🤌🏻💋
🍯 Picked up a bottle of local goodness from Whisman’s Honey
🥤 Grabbed a Dirty Doctor from Pups & Cups because caffeine is a personality trait at this point
🍅 And EEEEWWWW WEEEEE… those tomatoes?!?! Somebody’s grandma is about to get challenged at Sunday dinner 😭😂

THIS is why we are so excited for the future of Speed Park Artisan & Farmers Market! Local vendors. Homemade goodies. Small businesses. Community. Good food. Good vibes. And shopping that actually means something. 💛

If you haven’t driven through Speed Park lately… just wait until you see the transformation happening right before our eyes! 👏💚

The Friends of Speed Park have been WORKING nonstop to bring this beloved community space back to its former glory… and let us tell you… it’s looking AMAZING! 🙌

🪑 Picnic tables have been added and rehabbed throughout the park
🎶 The Grand Stand Gazebo has been cleaned, refreshed, and touched up
🌺 The beautiful gardens & fish pond have been brought back to life
🌱 Invasive honeysuckle has been removed🚜 New grass has been planted along the sidewalks
🌳 Fresh mulch has been laid around the trees & garden beds

This park is becoming something truly special again… and the Speed Park Artisan & Farmers Market is only the beginning! 💫

I’m sending out Good Weather Vibes from now until 05/30/26 so we can all be there and watch this market POP OFF 🎆 🎇 🧨
