We have a bale warehouse, cotton seed warehouse, ship cotton to the world, and ship cotton seed to our local cattlemen as well as the rest of the country

It sadden my heart to learn of the passing of Jimmy Hayes this morning. Jimmy managed and owned Planters Gin & Warehouse Co. in Clanton Alabama. When I took the job at Black Belt Gin 2018 Jimmy helped me tremendously learning the ins and outs of of gin industry. Always there to help when I needed it. Planters Gin closed in 2020 and now Jimmy has passed on. A bit of Alabama’s cotton industries history gone. Cotton, The Fabric of Our Lives ®.
