🎉 We are thrilled to share that the Three Village Farmers & Artisans Market has been selected as a recipient of a $5,000 L.O.C.A.L. Small Business Grant from Optimum Business and the Long Island Association Foundation!

This is our perfect June afternoon ☀️

🍵 Grab an iced matcha and devour pastries at a picnic table while debating which plants to adopt (and try not to take home a puppy - we dare you!)

Farmers Markets are about more than shopping small and supporting local - they are a place to learn, grow, spend time with friends & family, and connect with your community!

Little learners are invited to get their hands in the dirt with a series of gardening workshops designed to spark curiosity, foster their love of nature, and explore where food comes from.

Led by educators and taking place every 20 minutes from 3 - 6 pm during the Three Village Farmers Market.

Ideal for ages 4 - 12 / must be accompanied by an adult

Friday, June 12th: History Rocks! From Sea to Shining Sea

Paint your own rocks and seashells to celebrate Long Island 250 - take them home with you, or leave them to decorate the museum gardens

Story time: our first market of June and I asked a 13 year old guest what his favorite part of the market is

He immediately replied: THE DOGS 🤎

He then asked me why I show so many pictures of fruits and vegetables and not all the cool pups who frequent our market, because we are one of the only dog friendly markets on Long Island 🐕

He’s right. It’s time the dogs got a permanent place on the grid.

Please welcome a small sampling of awesome fur friends with photographs by an incredibly cool 8th grader who inspired this post 🐶

The real question is: should we make it a series?!?!

💟 Shout out to all the dog moms & dads who said yes to being featured! (Tell your dog we said woof!)

🐿️ PS the dog named Squirrel (yellow vest) is up for adoption through - his brothers Possum & Chipmunk were both adopted by 3VM families after their market debut 2 weeks ago!!!
