Story time: our first market of June and I asked a 13 year old guest what his favorite part of the market is

He immediately replied: THE DOGS 🤎

He then asked me why I show so many pictures of fruits and vegetables and not all the cool pups who frequent our market, because we are one of the only dog friendly markets on Long Island 🐕

He’s right. It’s time the dogs got a permanent place on the grid.

Our first Farmers Market Friday in June and it's going to be a warm one!

🍓 We have the hottest vendors and the coolest guests - with something sweet for everyone to enjoy!

😎 Market runs 3 - 7 pm so come early, grab a freshly squeezed lemonade, stock up on farm fresh produce, bring joy with a stunning floral bouquet, treat yourself to new jewelry or bath salts or a cutie little houseplant, and pull up a picnic table for dinner with the much anticipated return of Grandma's Table!!!

🔪 Don't forget to bring your kitchen knives and garden shears to get sharpened!

Srsly tho… what’s all the fuss about the farmers market?

All it has is a bunch of small businesses, family farms, fresh flowers, local food, handmade jewelry / soaps / candles…

Why are 1,000 people all out here on a Friday night playing lawn games, listening to live music, and supporting their local historical society with free museum tours…

Guess I’ll have to go see for myself 🍯

One of our favorite things to do at the farmers market is surprise & delight our guests 💙

A super simple (but wonderful) addition to our market is the Little Free Library - in the shape of the museum, of course 🔎

An incredibly detailed Eagle Scout project, this gift has a lasting legacy on both our museum and our market … and we’ve made it our mission to keep it fully stocked all season long 📕📙📒📗📘

We’ve brought in every genre from cookbooks to kids books, novels to nonfiction - there is something fun for everyone!

In fact, we’ve added SO many books to the library, we have to put out extra tables on Friday nights … and they’re almost always empty by the end 🥹

Pull up a bench and read while enjoying your pierogis or pie or pickles or peaches … if it brings you library joy, we are here for it 📖

Clearing out your shelves at home? We promise your books will find their new owner here!

Fridays are for winding down your week and kicking off your weekend - what better place to relax than the farmers market?!?!

🫑 With farm fresh produce, fabulous florals, live music, lawn games, and free museum tours, there is truly something for everyone

💌 Special stops include: typewriter poetry by Write Through Me, Ask a Historian, Long Island 250 passport stamps, the Long Island History Hunt selfie challenge, a fully restocked Little Free Library, and Jeff Bellanca on guitar

🥰 Community partners are the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Stony Brook University and the Impact Club at Laurel Hill School

Ahhhhh the smell of freshly roasted espresso, beautifully arranged floral bouquets, and classic Farmers Market jokes ... must be Friday!

🇺🇸 Three Village Farmers & Artisans Market invites you to start your Memorial Day Weekend the best way we know how - by shopping small, supporting local, enjoying a picnic dinner with friends & family, meeting Long Island farmers, and playing lawn games while the sun sets over Setauket.

🔎 It's a pretty special time to be here as we launch the Long Island History Hunt, a summer-long scavenger search for Redcoats & Rebels, with real prizes at the end for Revolutionary trailblazers like you!

🎻 We also have free museum tours, ask a historian, and an incredible musical guest with the players from the Spiritus Festival who you won't want to miss!

🍅 All this and 30+ wonderful vendors from across Long Island - everything from fish caught off our coasts to the best bakery in Brooklyn to artisan jewelry to small batch candles to old world Italian sauces to lemonade squeezed to order...

How many Farmers Markets can say that beyond amazing vendors, they offer live music, lawn games, a little free library, museum tours, AND pet adoptions?!?!

(Hint: we're pretty sure it's just us!)

Three Village Farmers & Artisans Market is blessed to have several wonderful community partners, including animal rescue and foster & adoption agencies.

Unsurprisingly, many of our guests and vendors have found their fur families right here on Fridays - and this week is another chance for you to meet your future four-legged friends!

Three Village Farmers & Artisans Market starts in May, but leading up to that weekly delight is the joy of Long Island families: Friday Food Truck Fest 🍟

With rotating food trucks serving your favorite meals each week, it’s a delicious way to start your Spring in Setauket 🥗

On the serene grounds of with free museum tours, music, lawn games, kid-friendly activities, and dogs on a leash welcome, we see the whole community come together in one afternoon 🥟

Whether you’re enjoying empanadas, dining on dumplings, binging a burger, or devouring donuts - we are here for you 🍩

Applications are now open for 3 Fridays in April so tag your best food truck vendor friends here 🍕
