In 1938, Turner McMahan began farming at Belmont Farms in Sevier County TN. Eventually Turner's son, Kenneth, farmed at Belmont Farms and local residents remember the best strawberries they ever ate were picked from the U-Pick strawberry fields. Now the third generation (Turner's grandson and Kenneth's son), Don McMahan is farming using natural organic methods to grow heirloom tomatoes. Many heirl

oom varieties are being grown this year including well-known favorites like Cherokee Purple and Brandywine but also many exciting finds that offer a multitude of wonderful characteristics like unusual colors and stripes and every size you can imagine from tiny berry-sized to big one-slice-for-a-sandwich! Come by historic Belmont Farms on Jones Cove Road at Canupp Dr. Our store is in the big barn above the orchard.
