Pop-E's Little Town Market

Pop-E's Little Town Market In honor of "Little Jimmy" Eskew From Edgewater to Fairhaven, to Traceys Landing to Shady Side; the Eskew name is well known.

"Little Jimmy" Eskew was the original Edgewater Parade Dalmatian, after his grandfather (Harry Sumner) purchased the first fire engine for the Woodland Beach Volunteer Fire Department. He grew up in Fairhaven MD and graduated from Southern Senior High School in 1983, but not before being scouted by the Pittsburg Pirates. He was an avid baseball player and Harley Davidson Motorcycle rider enthusias

t. He loved listening to live music, playing horseshoes and golf and later in life- got really into playing corn hole. Jimmy loved his family and friends and was always willing to help anyone who needed it. He was a dependable, caring son to Jo Ann Eskew & the Late Ronny Eskew, Sr a brother, to Jacki Ferko, the late Karen Ells, an uncle Eric & (Bridgid Gee (EJ)) and Kadee Corley & (Brian Corley (Bryce & Hank)) and a doting father to his only child, Brittany Eskew and proud grandfather to her son(s) Colin Kreuter (and Parker Butler who he never met). Jimmy was known as "Little Jimmy" or "the Legend" to the locals and "Pop-E" to his family. In his honor, we are opening this Little Town Market to give back to the community that he loved so much, where he grew his family and supported his friends.
