I know that it's not much to look at right now, but the journey to Shamrock's first commercial hydroponic greenhouse has begun. I have no idea how long the process will take, but I'm going to get it across the finish line.

I know it's been awhile since I've posted, but I wanted to let everyone know that the market isn't going away, we're having to wait for the new plants to produce and then figure out logistics. Due to the price of gas, we're changing the delivery system. I'll update as information is available.

Although this is the weekend for funnel cakes and footlong corn dogs, we've restocked our vegetables to give you a healthier option. We have salad mixes, butter lettuce and romaine lettuce, cucumbers and several varieties of tomatoes. What i don't have is the answer to how much salad do you have to eat to offset a cheesecake on a stick. Everyone have a fun and safe weekend. We'll be open til 7 today and tomorrow and 11-3 on Sunday.

So, good news and bad news. Good news is that we're got a delivery of fresh vegetables in this morning. The bad news is that the early bird not only gets the worm, but also the fresh produce. We still have a bag of slicing tomatoes and several bags of cherry tomatoes. We may get another delivery before the end of the week and lettuce is a week or 2 out.

Shelves are bare and the cooler is empty. We will be restocked by this coming Tuesday if not sooner. I'll keep you posted. Thanks again to everyone for the condolences this past week. Community closeness is one of the many reasons why I love living in a small town.
