New day, new time, plus some new vendors joining our list.

Join us at the Shawnee Farmers Market in Shawnee, OH May 16th from 9 AM to 12 PM. We’ll have produce and plants, beef, chicken and pork, sweet treats, sourdough baked goods, goat soap and luxury bath products, homemade dog treats, maple syrup, fresh eggs, herbal teas, wood work products, crochet products, and more. Black Diamond Tavern will be open additional hours to serve breakfast and brunch. Locate us at the intersection of St Rts 93 and 155. Alternate rain location is in the Tecumseh Theater on Main St in Shawnee.

We’re excited to announce that the Shawnee Farmers Market will now be held on the 3rd Saturday of each month, May through October, from 9 AM to Noon.

📍 Location: Corner of State Route 155 & State Route 93

We are currently looking for vendors offering:• Coffee• Sourdough• Dog treats• Flowers• Cheeses• Jams• Vegetables• And more local goods!

Tom has gone above and beyond in helping us develop our market. His knowledge and work are very much appreciated. Thanks for all you do Tom Redfern!!

It's Tom Redfern Day!! A few years ago, the village of Chesterhill declared October 26th "Tom Redfern Day" as a way to mark the incredible work he has done in the community. Over the years Tom has impacted thousands of lives and mentored hundreds of AmeriCorps and staff here at Rural Action, he even became a Kentucky Colonel along the way. His favorite thing in the world is seeing his former mentees grow and thrive in their careers - with the same passion for the work that Tom embodies every day.

So join us in thanking Tom, for all he has done and will do. Whether he is brightening our days with a "good job" or a fist bump, hauling produce or sharing some words of wisdom- we could not do this without you! 💚

Our last Shawnee Farmers Market for the season is Friday evening. Come support our wonderful farmers and vendors Briar Bush Farm and MadCrochet to mention a few will be here. As a special thank you for a wonderful season, we will be grilling hotdogs. Stop by get your fresh meats, produce and crafts. Let's make this a great season finale!
