When someone asks you to step outside of the chocolate and vanilla box, you do it excitedly! This lovely trio of cupcakes will be the dessert for a special 60th birthday party this evening. Enjoy friends!

I've been wanting to make my mom a Louis Vuitton purse cake for quite some time seeing as it is her favorite accessory, and I finally had a slice of time to do it this year! Happy birthday mom!! (P.S. the colors look different in the 2 pictures due to natural light vs late night kitchen light) (P.S.S. Chocolate fondant is a delicious invention!)

Have I ever mentioned how much I love groom's cakes?! When this bride came to me describing her husband-to-be as a firefighter and avid Superman fan, I just couldn't get this idea out of my head! The hat and uniform modeled after his own coat and fire helmet along with a fire hose base. CONGRATS!
