Dear Friends and Neighbors,
After two years of serving our community the finest cheeses, custom charcuterie, and warm grilled cheese sandwiches, we have made the difficult decision to close the doors of Something Cheesy at the end of this year. While we fought hard to make this specialty shop a permanent staple in town, the second-year shift in foot traffic and the economic realities of the retail landscape have brought us to the end of this specific chapter.
This decision is heartbreaking, but our overwhelming feeling today is gratitude. We want to thank everyone who stepped through our doors, trusted us to build the perfect board for your holiday parties, or sat down to enjoy a lunch with us. Getting to know you across the cheese counter has been the absolute highlight of our journey.
We intend to make these final months a celebration of the community we love. Here is how we will handle our operations through the end of the year:
Holiday Catering & Snack Boxes: We are still taking orders for custom charcuterie and specialty items for the Halloween season. Let us help make your gatherings special one last time.
Gift Cards: If you have an outstanding gift card, please stop in to use it for lunch or grocery items before our final day.
Specialty Grocery Clearance: Effective immediately, we will begin marking down our retail shelves, specialty pantry items, and packaged goods. Stop by to stock up on your favorites.
Stay tuned for adjusted hours and days of operation. We will transition to Thursday - Saturday Only in the coming weeks to better align resources with foot traffic.
Please come see us over the next few months. We would love nothing more than to wrap up your favorite block of cheese for you, grill one last sandwich, and thank you face-to-face for supporting our dream.
