Luna joined the crew this week! Many people think farms are winding down, but the truth is we’re ramping UP. Now through October is our busiest time of year and we need all hands on deck to pull it off. Peppers, watermelon, fall squashes, lettuce, and potatoes haven’t even arrived yet - there are still so many good veggies to come. We’re hiring for a store associate! Must be able to work Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10:30-3 now through early December. Preference given to candidates who can work until 6:00 one or all of those days. Rotating Sunday shifts from 10-3 required. Requirements include assisting customers with checkout in an outgoing manner as well as completing physical, fast-paced tasks to prepare vegetables for sale (bending and lifting heavy crates a must!) We are so excited to offer pick-your-own peaches this Saturday 8/8 only from 10-12. The trees are located at 475 Booth Hill Road in Shelton. Peaches are sold by the bag - $10 each - and hold approximately 3 lbs.

Lettuce season might be over, but if you’re finding out about us because of cyclospora, we’d like to invite you to enjoy everything we have to offer. There is no comparison to fresh, hand-picked produce, grown solely by us and never shipped in.

Right now, cucumbers, beans, eggplant, summer squash, onions, cabbage, beets, carrots, and so much more are abundant. The first of the tomatoes are trickling in, too. Subscribe to the mailing list on our website to receive a weekly list of what is currently available.

Walk in during open hours and let us know that you would like a bulk box. We will bring one out to you until they sell out for the day. No pre-orders.
 
(We really can’t remember a time we have ever run out.)
 
Bulk boxes are 25 lbs. for $34.50.
You are welcome to buy more than one box if available.
 
For your planning purposes, boxes are expected to be available through August.
