We’re so excited to announce that Farm & Barn is coming back this October!

This year is extra special as we celebrate 20 years of selling exclusively at farmers markets. Join us for a day at the ranch with tours, the chance to meet your ranchers, ask questions, and learn more about where your food comes from.

Fun Day Sunday!
While some of us are at the Fowlers Farmers Market selling products raised at the ranch directly to you, others of us are at the ranch performing daily chores, weekly maintenance, and projects.

This Sunday’s project: Moving meat birds to the pasture! And there’s more to it than just moving birds. The chicken tractors are moved and checked for the new birds coming from the brooders. Clean, sanitized feed pans and waterers are put in and filled, and then the meat birds are moved from the brooders out to pasture.

After the birds are moved to pasture, the brooders, waterers, and feeders are washed and sanitized. The brooders are checked, anything broken is repaired, and everything is prepared for the next batch of chicks arriving.

Our next batch of chicken cuts will be processed Thursday, September 17. Don’t forget to pre-order this Thursday to save money and RSVP for the cuts you want!

Our October batch of meat birds will be the most awaited whole birds!

Chilly fall days are almost here, and many of you have been asking for cozy recipe ideas!

So we’re refreshing your feed with one of our ranch favorites: homemade Bone Broth using our Chicken Necks and Backs.

It’s super easy, and we make it at least once a week. We sip it on its own and use it as the flavorful base for soups, stews, beans, and more.
