Farmers Grocery is about a third of the way stocked. I've had family helping load all the inventory into our self check out system. It's working great! Most of the rest of the inventory arrives tomorrow.

Fire inspection scheduled tomorrow and then I will have a much clearer picture of the timeline moving forward.

Love this vintage Carnation Milks sign Gavin put on the wall! There are so many fun touches that I can't wait for you all to see!

I had the pre-opening inspection from 'Food and Lodging' this morning. They were excited to see all the progress since I submitted the permit applications over a year ago. I have learned a lot through the process. All I have left now, to meet state requirements, is a fire marshall inspection planned next week.

Two weeks ago, Alex of Rural Grocery Solutions, worked with Gavin on installing our remote door access hardware and software. Members of Farmers Grocery will be able to access the building to shop 24/7. You will be able to download an app on your phone that will act as a digital key to let you into the side door! Even I was skeptical about it, but all I can say is that it is working great and I'm really impressed! The grocery store in Munich, ND utilizes the same system and community members there love the convenience.
