Community Update Regarding the Lincoln County Farmers’ Market

The Lincoln County Farmers’ Market has been operated entirely by volunteers, and we are proud of what has been built over the years.
At this time, the current board will be stepping away, and we are no longer able to continue overseeing or operating the market. This means that unless a new group from the community is willing to step in and take on leadership and operational responsibilities, the market will pause operations for the foreseeable future.
Running the market requires ongoing coordination, organization, and commitment, and it cannot continue without a dedicated team in place.
The farmers’ market has always belonged to the community, and its future depends on whether there is sufficient interest and capacity for others to carry it forward.
If you or a group you’re part of are interested in discussing what it would take to assume responsibility for the market, please reach out to us directly.
We are deeply grateful to the vendors, volunteers, and community members who have supported the market over the years. We hope this message opens the door for a new chapter, should the community wish to pursue one.
