The CCC Road is OPEN!

This beautiful seasonal route connects North Shrewsbury (Pierce’s Store) with Plymouth, just south of Woodward Reservoir on Route 100. It’s an incredibly scenic drive, snaking through the Coolidge State Forest and passing around the base of Shrewsbury Peak. It’s also a great shortcut to/from Shrewsbury and many points North and East.

The best part—it puts Pierce’s on your route, so be sure to stop by!

Burgers & beer tasting with Foley Brothers Brewing TOMORROW

Foley Brothers Brewing will be setting up at Pierce’s Garage on Saturday and pouring a selection of their deliciously crafted brews.

Pierce’s will be serving up burgers and veggies burgers under a tent in the driveway, with Dave Tibbs manning the grills and many of our faithful board member volunteering.

We hope you can join us for one of the first gatherings of the season and what promises to be a lovely evening and prelude to Mother’s Day. (Live music possible!)

Saturday May 9th 4:30-6pm, rain or shine

We made the cover of ! If you haven’t already, be sure to pick up your copy of last week’s paper. (We have extras here at the store). It’s a great feature on the importance of general stores to communities in Vermont and the challenges of operating them. The write-up on Pierce’s highlights on many volunteers, the cooperative element of our organization and some our goals for the future.
