Fun facts about Simpsonville Farmer's Market
1. The market donates all proceeds from vendor fees to local charities! This year we donated to Center for Community services and to Backpack Blessings. We like to keep things local!
2. The City of Simpsonville, when planning the space the market uses, put in light colored concrete so it wouldn't be so hot for vendors! (also much kinder to dogs paws in summer heat than dark seal!)
3. The market is in it's 17th season. We started as a small thursday evening market on the grounds of the Cotton Mill apartments. Later we moved to saturday mornings at the old City Park, then temporarily behind City Hall for a few years while the new park was being built and are now in our second season at the new Gracely Park.
4. The market is run by volunteers! What we do, we do for love.

We have lots of vegetables available at market every week.
We share lots of posts about non produce vendors ONLY for the fact that those are the posts that are made more often by our vendors.
Our hardworking local farmers are out there in this heat - busy growing and harvesting produce!
