Our SEHS MHS would like to make sure Thanksgiving staples are stocked at our food shelf for the upcoming holiday. We also want to ensure kids in our district have cold-weather gear to keep them warm as the temperatures start to dip. So, we are asking for donations to help supply these items for local families.
MHS members will be at the concession stand before school every day from Monday, November 10th, to Friday, November 21st to take donations. Please bring in shelf-stable Thanksgiving foods such as stuffing, gravy, canned cranberry sauce, powdered mashed potatoes, and the like. As well as hats, socks, gloves, mittens, boots, snowpants, etc.
The grade level with the most items donated will win cookies and cocoa on the last day of school before winter break. If anyone has questions about this, they can contact Mrs. Pietig or Mrs. Geiger.
