Happy Friday, friends and family! Hope all is well. Just wanted to share this update - the whole crew of OB3B is learning about resilience, certainly. But, as Gloria Gaynor did, we will survive!

Good morning, friends and family! We hope you are well. We wanted to share this link for those who haven’t seen it scroll past your timeline yet, as well as let our friends and family know that we truly miss you.

We are from here, and still regularly drive by the ol’ deli - gazing upon the “For Rent” sign with sadness, remembering each and every one of you… looking over the sandwich station watching as people truly enjoyed our food, the occasional chat with strangers and chuckling kindly at my terrible puns.

We’ll see you soon. Thank you again, please share far and wide - and always be kind.

Dearest friends, family, followers, and all of the other descriptors that could be used for those reading this message -

This message is one that we had never, ever imagined that we would have to write when we first walked into our space 18 months ago.

With eternal sadness - last Saturday was the last day that the crew of OB3B will have served food at our little deli. We are unable to move forward as this location, and as such will have to close effective immediately.

We faced challenges from the very beginning, those of you who have heard the tale of turning a former craft store and hair salon into a home where all are welcomed with yummy deli delights can attest to that! Those early followers, who watched us hang the banner, build the place, and finally get to the Grand Opening know that Jenni and I put all of our blood, sweat, and tears into OB3B… and we suspect many others who joined us on the journey along the way do too.

It’s been an honor and a pleasure, truly, to serve our community. To watch from the other side of the counter as folks enjoyed our food, playing cards, chatting with us or the other people that walked in the door… was magical. Every person that walked in that door touched our hearts, and we hope that we were able to do the same.

For those numerous of you that have told us “we really hope you stick around!”… we absolutely and truly did too. We went all in, hearts and minds, and we are sorry that the hills we faced proved just a little too tall to climb this time around.

We obviously have to step back as a family and figure out what the next thing is, but we absolutely believe that this is not a good bye, friends - simply a “we’ll see you again soon, whenever and wherever that will be!”

We’ll be around the shop for the next few days getting things in order and packed up, so if you happen to see us, feel free to come say hi - you all have made an immeasurable impact in our lives.

We hope that we, too, have made an impact on yours - no matter how large or small. It was our pleasure to be able to serve our community. Feel free to shoot us a message and let us know, we could certainly use the words of encouragement!

If you have been waiting for an opportunity to try out your local Soddy-Daisy deli, today is the day from 11:00am to 7:00pm!

Serving all the deli delights, we also have our Roasted Red Pepper and Smoked Gouda soup on today. Pair it with an OG Grilled Queso for a super summer combination! Also introducing a new cold deli side, the OB3Bean Salad - featuring baked beans, ham, onion, tomato, parsley, sweet peppers and a whole lot of love from the OB3B kitchen!

Can’t wait to serve you today at 8804 Dayton Pike, Suite D! Same plaza as Kays Kastle, right around the corner off Eveningside Drive!
