Blueberry season is here and there’s nothing quite like filling your basket straight from the bush. Warm sunshine, rows of berries ready to pick, and that first sweet taste you just can’t wait for… it’s a good day at the farm.

Our blueberries are ripe and ready, perfect for snacking, baking, or taking home to share. Bring the kids, take your time, and enjoy being out in the fields together.

And if you’re looking for even more to pick, strawberries are also available for U-Pick daily.

Come spend a little time outside with us and take home the best of the season. Blueberries are only available at our somma location however strawberries are at both farms.

Blueberries are now available for picking!

Pick Your Own blueberries are now in season and they’re only available at our Somis Farm Center. Easy to pick and even easier to enjoy.

$5 admission
$6.50/lb blueberries (Somis only)
$3.50/lb strawberries (available at both farms)

Open daily 9am–6pm
Kids under 2 are free
Season Passes valid for Somis too

Texas Sweet Onions are in season! Homegrown, super mild, and just the right amount of sweet. $5.95 a bunch. Available at our Somis and Underwood Family Farms in Moorpark Farm Markets!

These are the onions you actually want to eat raw. Slice them onto burgers, tacos, and sandwiches, toss into fresh salsa, or add a little crunch to salads without that overpowering bite.

They’re also perfect for cooking. Grill them, roast them, or caramelize them down low and slow. They get soft, rich, and slightly sweet in the best way.

Short season, big flavor. Grab a bunch while they’re here.

Last night’s rain brought some much-needed moisture to the farm, and while we’re always grateful for it, it does mean our Somis Pick Your Own fields will be closed today.

The soil needs a little time to dry out so we can keep the fields in good shape for everyone. The farm is looking especially beautiful this morning, fresh, green, and full of life thanks to the rain.

We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to welcome you back out to the fields very soon. Our Farm Market and Animal Center will remain open until 6 PM.
