South Bend lost a true legend. Lou Holtz wasn’t just a championship coach—he was a leader, an inspiration and a proud part of our community.

We loved seeing him at the café enjoying our chocolate peanut butter cookies and Lou always loved Mark’s competitive spirit.

South Bend Chocolate Company honors the legacy of Coach Holtz and the spirit he brought to our city. He will be deeply missed.

Stroll up to see the bison, head to our Notre Dame overlook and feel a plane soar right over you, and take a moment to simply breathe it all in. Along the way, learn about the Continental Divide running right through our property — a unique feature you won’t find just anywhere. Don’t forget to grab a coffee on your way up the trail — it’s the perfect companion for a peaceful walk.
