For everyone that has seen the news about imported beef, Bob's DOES NOT use any of this beef in our ground beef. This imported beef is used by the big processors to add lean to the fat from US beef. This product is then sent out to chain restaurants, big box stores and food service suppliers. When you see the sale on 10lb tubes at the big box stores for cheap, this is what you are getting. We grind US beef here from whole muscle, typically mid west beef. Bob's would also like to thank The Lodge, The Groovin Grove and The Moose lodge for sticking with us even though they could buy cheaper burger from their food service companies.
