WOW!!! Thank you for the continued enthusiasm and support! The phone has been ringing off the hook!

Our apologies if you have been trying to get through to place an order-we still want to hear from you!

Orders are closed for now until Doc can secure more pork and beef! As soon as we know more, we will let you know! We are hoping to complete one more round of phone orders and pick ups for Saturday!

Doc is making a limited menu of items including: Polish Sausage, Pizza Burgers, Brisket Burgers, Al Capone Italian, Mild Italian, and Mild Hungarian Sausage.

South Milwaukee Sausage and Meats will be closed November 1st. We will reopen Saturday November 2nd.

Thank you so much for all of your kind words and well wishes. There is a lot to catch up on with pre orders. So, we will be open for pre order pick up only. We ask that you call the store when you arrive.

As we wind down, we will post a limited menu for pre orders on Saturday, November 2nd for pick up on the following week before we close our doors.

It is our goal to make sure we can get everyone some of their favorite items to stock up on for the holiday.

WOW!!! Thank you SO MUCH for the out pouring of support today! And for the Shepard Express Best of Milwaukee Nominations in the Best Bratwurst, Best Sausage, Best Butcher Shop, Best Meat Selection, and Best Sausage shop categories for 2024! Thanks to YOU, that's 22 nominations in 3 years!

Due to all of the support and visitors today, Doc will need to be CLOSED tomorrow, Sunday Oct 27th. The plan is to make big batches of some of the favorites and have them available next on Thursday Oct. 31!

Doc is working hard to make sure that everyone can get a little something to enjoy before Nov 9th, so we appreciate your patience along with your kindness today!

SMx2 family and friends:

We are very sad to announce that South Milwaukee Sausage and Meats will be closing permanently at the end of business on Saturday November 9, 2024.

Over the next two weeks, Doc plans to make batches of the fan favorite sausages and burgers. However, special orders will no longer be available. Please call the store to inquire what is available and reserve product.

We are SO thankful for the community that YOU have built for Doc at South Milwaukee Sausage and Meats. Our success would not have been possible without you! While SMx2 will be coming to a close, Doc the Butcher will continue to provide great customer service and delicious food! As details are available, we will share them here.

Please stop in, stock up, and stay tuned!
