Grassroots Natural Market & Kitchen

Grassroots is a family-owned and operated business that was established in 1968.

In 1986 Marla and Meir Puni purchased their modest 1,500 square foot store, in a quaint shopping mall, in South Pasadena, California. In the early days, the restaurant offered soups, sandwiches, salads, frozen yogurt and their (ever popular) signature apple walnut muffins. The vitamin and grocery departments started small but were well suited for the health conscious consumer. Today, this homegrown family business, is bustling with positive vibes and great people.

Today is our Final Day! Such a heavy heart day. We loved filling our Market with hard to find groceries and other goods (along with your standard health food store items). Our Kitchen use to be a bustling lunchtime destination, the line seemed to never end. But sadly, it has.

Stop in today, as a , we are giving away, , whatever regular merchandise that we normally sell!! This is limited to whatever we have on the shelves. Please just come in to see what is left.

STORE CLOSING SALE

As we’re preparing to close our doors for good, we are selling all of our fixtures, furniture and equipment.

We have patio furniture, including chairs, tables and umbrellas. We also have various wire & wooden shelving units, ready to go. We’ll also have kitchen equipment, as well.

Our patio furniture is made of light-weight aluminum. The brown powder coated aluminum Outdoor Side Chairs are stackable. The 32" x 32" brown powder-coated aluminum dining height outdoor Table with umbrella hole.

Our 9' Patio Umbrella With Black Aluminum Pole Fiberglass Ribs Push Lift are made with Sunbrella material for durability.

We also have a 35” Square Silver Aluminum Bolt-Down Standard Height Table with Synthetic Teak Top.
