Good Morning every. Hope all is well. I'm not doing so good. I've been putting off updating because I've been trying to figure out lots of issues. I've had many of you reach out to me personally. I really appreciate that. I miss you all.
So here is the happenings in a nut shell. The last we all spoke, I was due to have back decompression surgery in December and left knee replacement in February. Got through both of those. However, before both of those surgeries I was in a local store and a box fell on my head. I had had neck surgery last March so I went immediately for a CT scan. All was ok. We thought. I slowly started feeling odd, moody, just not right. Quickly agitated, heart rate flares, sweats, feeling jittery, just lots of weird stuff. Had Dr change and add different medications. Then started getting really bad headaches. Finally was sent to a neurologist who did some imaging. I have just found out I have a partially empty sella which is causing for now we are calling it idiopathic intracranial hypertension which both other those things are causing all of these symptoms I've been going through. Along with the recurring concussion syndrome from the box falling on my that I think caused all this. I feel like I have been on a nonstop roller coaster for months. Dizzy, nauseous, aweful headaches that now just never go away, and lots of other weird stuff.
I've also had car trouble. Got a different vehicle.
My oldest daughter had her baby 3 weeks ago so she can't help me do a weekly market right now.
Oh and the initial reason I was waiting on an answer for yesterday, UGH, I need another surgery. A year and a half ago I feel getting things gathered for market. Well, I always said "when I do things, I do them good". Months ago found out I partially tore my gluteus medius. Was sent to a surgeon. Who sent me to physical therapy that did nothing. After my knee surgery I found out I was sent to the wrong surgeon. So went to the surgeon who specializes in that area. He did new images and guess what?! I also had many severally tears of the gluteus minimus that it actually completely tore. So now I know why I have been walking around with aweful hip, leg, and yes, butt pain. Lol. I did not schedule that surgery yesterday because I'm trying to figure out the whole brain issue thing I just found out last week. But the surgeon told me I would be down for 6-8 weeks after surgery because I would have a waist brace on securing the hip and will have to walk with a walker for that time.
Sorry so much but this is why I haven't been back yet. So many hurdles to jump and my body has stopped jumping but I've not given up and I won't. I just need a little time to regroup. Love and miss you all.
