Friday marked the final shift for Officer Jorge Alfaro - “Jorgito” to so many of us - after 25 years of dedicated service in law enforcement, including 21 proud years with the South San Francisco Police Department. 👮‍♂️

Throughout his career, Ofc. Alfaro served with heart and compassion across several roles, including Downtown Bike Patrol and as a longtime member of our Crisis Negotiation Team. But above all, his passion was always patrol, where he connected with our community every day on the streets.

He was a trusted teammate, a mentor, and a meaningful voice in our Hispanic Community Academy, where he helped strengthen bonds that will last well beyond his time in uniform. 🤝

Thank you for everything, Jorgito. You’ll always be part of this family. Enjoy your well-earned retirement and next chapter!
