Echinacea Kismet Raspberry
Easily grown in average, dry to medium moisture, well-drained soils in full sun to part shade. Best in full sun. This is an adaptable plant that is tolerant of drought, heat, humidity and poor soil. Divide clumps when they become overcrowded (about every 4 years). Plants rebloom well without deadheading, however prompt removal of spent flowers encourages continued bloom and improves general appearance.
Echinacea is a genus of seven species all endemic to eastern and central North America. Coneflowers bloom from June to August with some sporadic later bloom. Attractive to butterflies and other insect pollinators. Good fresh cut or dried flower. The dead flower stems will remain erect well into the winter, and if flower heads are not removed, the blackened cones may be visited by goldfinches or other birds that feed on the seeds.

Mark just came in a told me the larger Kniphofia uvaria 'Flamenco' Red Hot Poker are budding up very nicely. It wont be long before these beauties are in bloom.
Red Hot Poker requires full sun, exceptionally well-drained soil, and protection from harsh winter moisture. This vibrant, drought-tolerant perennial is an excellent low-maintenance addition to sunny borders.

What a wonderful last few days we have had, the weekend farmers markets were such a great time with visits and sharing all our products!!! I do so appreciate you all, I do have some of the best customers around, thanks for the support. I have been busy with gardens and 🐝 🐝 but also have plans for some soaps later this week and also some jams too, the shop will be open this week here to give me more time to prep and tend to the gardens while still having items available too.
