We’re Closed Today for Labor Day! 🇺🇸

Southport Cheese Shoppe will be closed today so our crew can enjoy a well-deserved Labor Day break celebrating the hardworking spirit that makes our country so special.

We hope everyone has a safe, relaxing & extra cheesy Labor Day filled with red, white & blue pride! ❤️🤍💙

🐄 Well… the girls have officially mooved in! 🐄

We added a little something new to the walls of Southport Cheese Shoppe, and I am absolutely in LOVE with how it turned out! 😍

Cheese, charcuterie, happy cows… I mean, could there be a more perfect mural for the cheesiest little shop in town?!

A HUGE thank you to Candy Paint for bringing this vision to life! You absolutely nailed it, and I couldn’t love it more! 🧡

If you know me, you know I have a HUGE sweet tooth… so of course I had to bring this one into the shop!

Meet Carr Valley Chocolate Cheese — sweet, creamy, chocolatey and definitely not your everyday cheese!

Honestly, when you combine cheese + chocolate, you really don’t have to convince me. 😍

This is one of those fun cheeses you just HAVE to try!

🐄🀄 Well… apparently Kate has a new hobby!

She traded in the cheese knife for the mah-jongg tiles and pulled up a chair with the ladies tonight at Capeside Brewing! 🍺🧀

We’re not sure she completely understands the rules yet, but she looks VERY confident holding that tile…

Meanwhile, Southport Cheese Shoppe is having a great time creating charcuterie boxes while everyone plays! 🧀❤️

Mah-jongg + cheese + Capeside Brewing + good company = Kate’s kind of night! 🐄🀄

🧡A quick note from the Cheesiest Shop in Town 🧡

I always do my best to keep the cheeses you know and love in the case, and when someone requests a particular cheese, I genuinely try to get it in!

But as much as I wish I had complete control over the cheese world… I don’t. 🧀

Sometimes a favorite is out of stock with my distributor, an order doesn’t arrive as expected, or a cheese simply isn’t available when I need it.

So if you come in looking for your favorite and it’s missing, I promise I haven’t forgotten about it! Chances are, I’m just as disappointed as you are — and already working on getting it back. 🧀

I appreciate every request, every recommendation, and especially everyone who understands that sometimes the cheese gods just don’t cooperate. ❤️
