Tomorrow is our big opening day for the 2026 market season! More than a full house (roughly 30 vendors)! We'll be open from 9:00-1:00.

To clear up any confusion, Alleghany Farmer's Market is NOT the 21 Farm Supply farmers market in State Road (which is apparently closed tomorrow).

Shopping at the Alleghany Farmer's Market on Saturdays is a very impactful way to support local small businesses with one stop! Be sure to head out this Saturday to visit all your favorite food & craft vendors (and some new ones!) for our first market of the 2026 season. We'll be open 9:00-1:00 at Crouse Park. See you there!

Interested in learning how to graft fruit trees? Check out this upcoming workshop at Bluff View Farms on April 4th!

ATTENTION: GRAFTING CLASS! If you are interested in learning how to graft your own fruit tree, please comment below.

Please be aware that you will be working with sharp grafting knifes.

Workshop details: 2 hours grafting class with instruction, tips on growing and maintaining, graft 3 trees of your own with the option of purchasing more rootstock. $30/participant.

Different techniques will be shown, all materials are provided, also you’ll be able to graft a tree(s) to take with you.
