So, what's been cookin' at Pine Grove? Here's a sampling. We have a skillet cookie, a baked German Apple Pancake, and a stack of Norwegian waffles. All of them mighty tasty!

Skillet bread - Before and after. This is a multi-grain bread with sunflower seeds thrown in, for good measure. It's sweetened with local honey. It's mighty fine bread.

Hi, Folks. Our Sparta Farmer's Market had its season opener today. We can now sell baked goods made in a home kitchen. Lisa's homemade oat bran muffins sold out. All of our bakery items are made from scratch. To the extent we can, our ingredients are sourced locally. And, as I'm allergic to peanuts, we have a peanut free kitchen.

Lisa and I are both Servesafe certified food managers. It's not required, but we believe it's a good idea. The training is worthwhile and we want our customers to feel at ease, knowing our kitchen meets high standards relative to food safety.

We hope you enjoy what we have to offer at this Year's market. Come on out and visit. We'd love to see you there !
