Dearest Father God,
I look out at the people coming in and a lot of them looked very tired. Not just sleep tired but bone tired. Everyone seems to have lost someone, all the young people trying to start families are struggling under CRUSHING debt and inflated prices.
Father God, send my king, your son, who is the ONLY answer to our problems. No election can fix what is broken here, but Jesus certainly will. Father, we have taken something beautiful and broken it, irretrievably.
I will not stand in the shadows with my mouth shut. I will not hide my business from rejection to try and placate those who do not see you. You are my guiding light, my voice in the wilderness, the beacon to bring us all home. Father, as we watch the world devolve, I crave the presence of My King, Jesus Christ, to pick up the meek, the downtrodden, the suffering, the depressed, the broken and hopeless. Father God, I beg your guiding light on all your children. Bring us ALL home to you.
