We arenโ€™t in a position to take advantage of this law right now, but this is fantastic news!!

RALEIGH, N.C. (July 5, 2018) - Last week, the North Carolina legislature overrode Gov. Roy Cooper's veto of a farm bill that includes provisions legalizing limited raw milk for human consumption in the state. This takes a first step towards nullifying a federal prohibition scheme in practice. A bipa...

We went for a little walk about the farm today...well mostly the orchard because it was tasty. We spied the apples, pears, and figs coming in. We found a bunch of blackberries and even a ripe peach! Little missy got pretty tuckered out from the walk. The we ventured out front to the pond to look for frogs, but itโ€™s getting pretty dry in all this heat. Maybe weโ€™ll get a little rain soon though. It was a lot of fun listening to all the different sounds of the bugs, birds, and other critters through the wonder and amazement of little boys.
Happy 4th of July friends!

Oh my word! Just look at these cuties! They made cookies yesterday afternoon, while I went walking, boy did the house smell great when I came back in! The kids and I are going to be setting up this Saturday at Christ Covenant Baptist Church, at 5200 Bragg Blvd in Fayetteville, to participate in their Uganda fundraiser to help build a church and orphanage, and provide Bibles and pastoral supplies to pastors in the area. We would love if you came out to help support this church and their mission. There will be food, bounce houses and activities for the kids, a few vendors, and more. We will be donating 10% of our profits to their fundraiser as well. It will be from 11:30-4, this Saturday the 14th. Christian 105.7 WCLN FM will be there broadcasting for a few hours as well. L is particularly excited about this as well. The girls decided last year to use the first fruits of their moneys earned to support children through Compassion International, and the little girl she sponsors is from Uganda!
