Let's face it, there are plenty of hatchet jobs out there resulting in websites that suck, suck, suck. And you know, sometimes it's hard to know that your site has been hit by the ugly stick. This page is dedicated to making sure you do not fall in to that trap. No more overuse of flash. No more icky color combinations. No more crappy navigation that results in your visitors getting lost. No more
animated gifs that make you run screaming. No more yuck landing pages that are busy busy busy. No more music w/o options. If you think you're saving money by using a template and piecing something together, you may...but make sure it's the image you wish to present to the world at large. Make sure your idea of pretty matches everyone else's idea of pretty. Otherwise, you might be cutting yourself short. So, please, bring us the ugly. Share your thoughts and ideas of what to avoid and what not to avoid. Help the world move from Walmart like sites (ok, WallyWorld does make money which for many is the end game but at what price and for what clientele, just sayin') and fried twinkie navigation to useful, optimized, effective websites.
