🔥 Vendor Spotlight: Backyard Cookout! 🍔🍋🌽

What's the recipe for the perfect backyard cookout?

🥩 Start with quality beef from Woerner Farms.
🌽 Add fresh, seasonal produce from Pleitez Produce Farm. Depending on the season, that might mean sweet corn, tomatoes, melons, berries, peppers, or other farm-fresh favorites.
🍋 Wash it all down with a refreshing glass of freshly squeezed lemonade from Don't Be Bitter Lemonade.

Whether you're firing up the grill for family dinner, hosting friends on the patio, or celebrating a summer weekend, these three vendors can help you bring local flavor to the table.

One of the best things about shopping at the Spotsylvania County Farmers Market is that you can build an entire meal while supporting local farms and small businesses. Fresh ingredients, hardworking farmers, and a community that values local food—now that's a recipe worth sharing.

Stop by and visit Woerner Farms, Pleitez Produce Farm, and Don't Be Bitter Lemonade at the market and create your own backyard cookout masterpiece!

The forecast says rain for the next several days. Fingers crossed that actually happens. Also figured out why the rake wasn’t working with the lever on the gearbox. Three broken bolts and luckily three fairly easy extractions. Should have it back together in no time.

Picked up a new field today. It was a little bit too far overgrown so I cut it down. Hopefully that’ll jumpstart it growing again and I’ll get a cut before the end of the year.

This drought is no joke! I just got done bailing a field that normally gives 5 to 7 bales and I only got 2. One still in the Baylor and one on the spear I figured I’d just take them home with me. No use in bringing the truck and trailer out.

Nothing like fresh dirt to play in just sad that I was digging a hole to bury her old friend. It sucks losing a cow.
