I got so much done today! No labor free days around here 🤣 I canned like 20lbs of peas, made my first batch of chow chow, got a huge garden harvest, and a nice loofah harvest (peeled and pressure washed those), made a homemade meal for some friends, and kept the house relatively clean throughout the process. Not one single picture was taken on my phone but James did take this one and send it to me ❤️

I went to market yesterday and got home to no power and it didn’t come back until the wee hours of the morning today. Plus, it rained - a decent amount so I was forced to slow down and relax a little, so naturally this morning I got up and started a batch of end of summer chow chow - another small batch of vanilla paste - and some basil salt.
