I'm Noelle Vescio, born and raised in good ole Mandeville, Louisiana. I got an early start to my love of sweets from my mother, and soon realized that is exactly what I needed to be doing. I attended Louisiana Culinary Institute where I graduated in 2012 with an Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts- Advanced Baking and Pastry. I am Serv Safe certified, and I also have my NRAEF Manage First Program
Core Certificate. My degree (as well as my husband) has taken me from Baton Rouge, to New York City, to Sydney Australia and finally settled in Houston! I had always made sweets and cakes for family and friends, but I knew I wanted to start my own small business. In comes Maxie Cakes! Named after the first-born himself, this is my creative outlet and my true passion. I am loving Houston and meeting new people everyday! Please think of me whenever you need sweets of any kind.
