Dear Manna Friends and Customers:
On behalf of Manna Oriental and Becky, we would like to thank everyone so much for kindly supporting Manna’s business over the last few years. We really appreciate it very much! In Becky’s absence, I, Becky’s husband Ed, will continue the Balikbayan Box service.
1. Based on recent agreement with Ms. Eula, the Manna box service will be limited to drop off boxes ONLY on SATURDAY (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) and SUNDAY (1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.), BY APPOINTMENT only. Please text or call me (Ed) in advance at my personal number (479) 575-0390, to let me know the day (Saturday or Sunday) and the specific time you will deliver your boxes—so I can meet you at the store, or another place that could be specified later.
2. For those of you who need your boxes picked up, Ms. Eula kindly volunteered to arrange the box pickup from your place herself. Please text me with your address, so I can contact her for you.
To avoid unnecessary delays for everybody during drop off, please make sure you follow the details below strictly:
a. Using black permanent marker, please write the names and addresses of the sender and recipient on all three (3) long sides of the box. Do this before step b below.
b. Please make sure all the six (6) sides of each box are totally covered with two-inch CLEAR plastic tape. Please do not use masking tape or any other colored or unclear tape. This protects your box from the elements (rain, etc.) and possible contamination from other boxes. This also makes your box stronger to withstand possible rough handling during transport.
c. Fill-out the blank list of items on top of the box with the following information: Quantity, Description, and estimated Value of the contents of the box.
d. Make two (2) paper copies of the same list of items indicated on top of the box (done in step c above) for proper documentation.
e. Fill-out the invoice at the drop off place. Make sure the name, detailed address, and phone numbers of the sender and recipient are very clear and readable.
f. Please pay the shipping fee in CASH or good personal CHECK only. (Sorry for this inconvenience.)
g. Get a copy of the invoice (done in step e above) as your official receipt.
