"It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of our father Robert Pears Sr. He passed away last Wednesday August 26, 2026.

We started this greenhouse to help give him something to do and stay as active as possible and he loved every minute of it. Especially going to the C-Street City Market every Saturday that he could seeing everybody and enjoying the atmosphere.

Come on out and see us before it gets to hot today. We here C-Street City Market from 9AM - 2PM. We've san marzano tomatoes, purple cherokee tomatoes, squash, cantaloupes, jalapeño, banana, and white ghost peppers. Sunflowers and Decorative planters also available today

🔥Extreme Heat Warning — Here's what to know before you head to the C-Street City Market tomorrow!

We will still be open tomorrow, but with an Extreme Heat Warning in effect, we want you to be prepared and stay safe. We'll have fewer vendors than usual as many are prioritizing their own health or products during this heat, and we completely support that decision.

Here's how we're helping everyone cool off:

🧊 Fla-Vor-Ice pops — $0.50 each, available at the Market Barn
💧 Water and soda — $2.00 each, available at the Market Barn
🍋 Fresh lemonade — One of our vendors, Citrus & Sugar, will be selling freshly made lemonade!
🐾 Water and a kiddy pool for dogs to cool off
🎈 We may also break out the water balloon toss that got rained out at Summer Fair — stay tuned!

Please drink lots of water, wear sunscreen, and take breaks in the shade as needed. We want everyone — customers, dogs, and our vendors — to have a safe, enjoyable day at the Market.
