🐓 Meet the Farmers: Baker's Acres Best ! 🌾

Time for another spotlight on the wonderful farmers behind your favorite market finds — and today we're introducing you to the family behind Baker's Acres Best, a family farm right here in Clark County! 💛

Meet Kandice and Josh — both are proud military retirees! Kandice served in the Air Force and Josh in the Army. After serving our country, they've continued serving their community in a whole new way — through farming. 🙌

What started as a way to provide fresh food for their own family grew into something bigger, and now they're able to bring their goods to sell at markets like ours. 🌱

At their booth, you'll find a variety of produce that changes right along with the season:
🍓 Berries early in the season
🍎 Apples toward the middle
🎃 Pumpkins at the end..and so much more!

They also bring a variety of meat products when in stock — so keep an eye out for those farm-fresh options! 🥩

Baker's Acres Best is all about regenerative farming and healthy soil 🌍 — a thoughtful approach that's better for the land, the food, and all of us.

🥚And can we just say... we could NOT get over the beauty of their heritage breed egg-laying chickens! 🐔 Each one is so unique and stunning.

Bonus: their kiddos share a booth right next to them — and we'll be featuring those young entrepreneurs soon! 👧👦 Stay tuned!

🌧️➡️☀️ Thank You for Weathering the Morning With Us! 💛

What a start to the day! This morning's setup came with a side of rain, and we just want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who came out to support the market despite the soggy beginning. 🙌

We always encourage our vendors to make the best decision for themselves — and since some products can be damaged by the wet weather, a few of our vendors chose to sit this one out. We completely understand and fully support that call. 💚 Their well-being and their products always come first.

☀️ We were thrilled things cleared up so we could still open up to gather, shop, and enjoy the market together.

Rain or shine, this community always shows up for one another — and that's what makes our market so special. 🍅🍞🎃

🍈 Meet the Farmers: Honest Living Farms LLC!

Time for another spotlight on the wonderful farmers behind your favorite market finds — and today we're introducing you to the hardworking family at Honest Living Farms! 💛

This is another true family farm, where most of the family pitches in every step of the way — from planting the very first seeds, to harvesting the ripe and ready goods, to selling it all with a smile here at the market. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Watching a family pour their hearts into every stage of the process is what our market is all about!

When we visited, we were seriously impressed by their awesome greenhouse setup 🪴 — a beautiful operation that helps them grow a wonderfully diverse spread of produce. And the melons? 🍈 We got to try their breakfast melons and, let us tell you, they were absolutely delicious! 😋

They also frequently have all the ingredients you need to make your very own salsa — talk about fresh and homemade! 🍅🌶️🧅

Swing by, say hello to the whole family, and treat yourself to some homegrown goodness. 🌻
