"The $8 million project is led by Minnesota Farmers Union and received about $4 million in federal funds from the U.S. Economic Development Administration and USDA. The facility will process beef, pork and sheep for Cass, Crow Wing, Morrison, Todd and Wadena counties."

The new state of the art facility located in Staples, Minnesota, can process up to 15 animals per day. That includes cattle, hogs or sheep.
