Today I celebrate 51 years with this fella in the last few months he has been, my friend, my rock and my caregiver.  when we got married, the vows said, in sickness and health, for richer or poor and this past year, we have hit them all. He works hard he’s funny and he’s mine may the next 50 Bring us happiness as we grow old together. Love you forever and a day. Happy anniversary Hon Roger Shew❤️💋

Just a few updates on what’s been happening lately. As a lot of you know, I have bladder cancer and my bladder was removed completely to alleviate the cancer. Many things happened during that time.  Taking back to surgery for blood in the in the belly, and then for a ruptured spleen.
I want to thank Pastor Darrin and church family for all the prayers and concern of me during this time.  also for friends and family and their concerns for my welfare without your prayers I would not have made it this far. We serve an awesome God and he will lead us through it. I still have a long way to go, but I am beginning to see progress.  it’s small steps until frustration sets in. The doctors and nurses here at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital  are guided by Gods hands and give you the love and support that you need. Continued prayers for this long process. Love and hugs to all.
