Echo Glen Farm The Toms Family, who own and operate Echo Glen Farm, provide pasture-raised chicken and eggs to the Statesville, NC area.

We are providing pasture-raised chickens and eggs to the Statesville, NC area. Our chickens are raised without the use of antibiotics or added hormones. We currently sell at the Statesville Evening Farmers Market and at the Crossroads Regional Farmers Market.

General information

Meat Chickens: Our Cornish Cross chickens are in a heated brooder house until three weeks of age when they go out to pasture in floorless hoop houses, which are moved at least once daily to fresh grass. In addition to fresh grass and bugs, they are fed a locally-milled feed free of animal by-products, antibiotics and added hormones. Egg Layers: Our Rhode Island Red laying hens enjoy roaming and foraging out on the pasture, where they are protected during the day by a portable electric poultry net. At night, they roost safely in their egg mobile. They are moved every three days, following behind the cows. For pricing of products please visit our website, shown below.
