Groucho's Deli in Downtown Statesville is closing early due to the power outage. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Statesville Public Power crews have restored power to customers affected by today’s outage. The cause was determined to be a snake that came into contact with equipment at one of our substations. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while crews worked to safely restore service.

Statesville Public Power is responding to a widespread power outage affecting approximately 4,500 customers. The issue has been identified at one of our substations, and crews are actively working to resolve it. At this time, the outage is expected to last at least two hours, though restoration times may change as repairs continue. We will provide updates as more information becomes available. 🌞 While we wait for our new air conditioning system to be installed, the Groucho’s management team took advantage of a rare opportunity to step away from the deli and enjoy breakfast together in Downtown Statesville.

We had the pleasure of visiting the newly opened , and it did not disappoint! Great food, warm hospitality, and a wonderful addition to our downtown dining scene.

We highly recommend stopping by and checking them out for yourself.

Groucho's Deli in Downtown Statesville will be CLOSED on Thursday, May 28 & Friday, May 29, 2026, as we install a brand-new air conditioning system.
