I certainly don't mind these two but my dogs do 🤦‍♀️ They are safe back in our woodline now and hopefully the king snake is keeping away those copperheads! This is our third encounter with the rat snake 👀

We stopped on by Whistleville Farm today to snag some 'vanilla strawberry' hydrangeas 🤩 We are super excited to see these bloom. This place is absolutely beautiful so y'all need to stop by if you get a chance! Nice shaded area with lots of cool plants to choose from 🙌

It seems some tree swallows have happily taken up residence in one of the gourds we hung above the garden 😍🐦

The problem with my job is that it’s nearly impossible to get anything done because I’m constantly distracted by the bugs, birds, and bees all around me. One minute I’m out there weeding or pruning… and the next I’m chasing butterflies around like paparazzi with a camera. 😂

I feel so blessed to witness all this life right outside my back door. The garden is growing, the pollinators are thriving, and now we’ve got little swallow neighbors too. 💙 The cool thing about that is they'll act as natural pest control and hopefully keep down on those darn squash beetles that will inevitably appear soon. 😆

If you didn't get a chance to stop by today - don't worry! 🤗 We will open back up tomorrow between 9AM-5PM. We still have fresh bread, eggs, cookies, local honey, flowers, herbs, and produce! 🥬

For everyone that did stop by today.... 🫶 We are sooo grateful for all of your support. It makes all the hard work worth it when we see our community enjoying our farmstand! 😊
