BIG NEWS AT MARY’S VALLEY MEAT!

We are excited to announce that our NEW drive-through livestock pens, covered roof system, and new exit are officially COMPLETE!

This addition was designed with animal care, safety, and efficiency in mind. All of our livestock pens are now completely under roof, helping keep animals protected from the sun, rain, and other weather conditions while they are in our care.

Another major improvement is our new alleyway system, which allows us to safely walk alongside and move livestock without having to enter the pens with the animals. The new drive-through setup also makes unloading, handling, and exiting much smoother and safer.

We couldn’t have completed a project like this without some great people behind it. A HUGE thank you to Mark Garrison Construction and Solid Rock Construction for all of your hard work and craftsmanship. And a very special thank you to Randy Heck for the tremendous amount of work that went into the pipe fencing, pen layout, planning, and strategy it took to bring the entire system together.

Better facilities. Safer handling. Better protection for the livestock.
It’s another step forward for Mary’s Valley Meat, and we couldn’t be more excited about how it turned out!

🍀 Good luck to all of the 4-H and FFA exhibitors at the Crawford County Fair today! 🍀

Today is the day many of these hardworking young people will be selling the livestock they’ve spent months raising and caring for. Whether it’s hogs, steers, heifers, lambs, goats, rabbits, poultry, or a bacon project, each animal represents countless hours of dedication, responsibility, and hard work.

We want to wish every exhibitor the very best of luck in the sale today. You should be proud of everything you’ve accomplished, no matter the outcome. The skills, work ethic, and commitment you’ve developed along the way are something no one can take away.

A special thank you also goes out to the parents, families, leaders, and volunteers who have encouraged, supported, and guided these exhibitors every step of the way. Your time, patience, and dedication make all the difference.

🎉 That’s a wrap on the Meramec Community Fair! 🐄🐖🐑

The 4-H & FFA livestock is officially in the cooler, marking the end of another successful fair. We want to extend a huge thank you to all of the exhibitors for their months of hard work, dedication, and commitment in preparing their animals for the 4-H & FFA Livestock Show & Sale. Your efforts truly paid off, and we’re proud to have been a part of your journey.
A special thank you goes to our incredible team at Mary’s Valley. Your teamwork, long hours, and dedication helped everything come together beautifully and made this year’s fair a great success.
Thank you to everyone who supported the fair, our youth, and the livestock program. We can’t wait to do it all again next year!

If you purchased a hog at the Meramec Community Fair on Saturday, please contact us as soon as possible.

Due to the shortened holiday week, we need to have all cut sheets completed by mid day on Monday. Hog processing will begin tomorrow and all hogs will be cut by Tuesday.
